A beautiful story is being revealed right now for those who would have eyes to see. This is the story of transformation. Your transformation. My transformation. This is the revealing of the Sons of God. The Sons of God will look like the sons of Adam no more. The true sons will now arise and look like their Father. The difference in the two will be in what they choose to see and in how they choose to see. This choice of seeing will produce two very different realities.
The sons of Adam will continue seeing trouble and chaos. They will see through a perception filtered with a human lens which will taint and hide true reality. This will cause them to continue being surrounded with trouble and chaos as they will manifest that which they have chosen to believe in. The Sons of God have now changed, and will continually be changing, their distorted perception of what is true.
When the crowd asked Jesus "why was this man born blind?", He told them it was so that the glory of God could be revealed. We have all been born blind in this earthly realm of darkness so that the glory of God could be revealed within each one of us in this darkened place. We are the treasures hidden in darkness. We have been hidden until the time of revealing. And now is that time.
In 1 Corinthians 13 we see some verses that we have perceived as being something that happens one day when we get to heaven. However, all of scripture is revealing something happening within each one of us. Verses 9-12 say "For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known."
Now to break this down; When we know in part, this means we only perceive to a certain degree. We are not seeing the whole of something. We are only seeing a section of it. As a result, we only speak the part or section that we see and perceive.
Moving on; When that which is perfect is come, then the partial seeing and speaking will be done. Perfect means something that is full of age or matured. It has been brought to it's fullness and lacks nothing. When this happens we no longer see sections and parts, but we begin to see the whole thing and the individual pieces or parts are done away with.
When I was a child, I spoke and understood as a child. This word child in the Greek means one that is untaught and unskilled and lacking more advanced understanding and knowledge or an immature Christian. To go deeper, it comes from other Greek words that means to speak, to say, and what one thinks. It is being limited in understanding. One that is limited in their understanding and knowledge and immature has limited thinking and speaking in the realm of spiritual things. This is being a child in spiritual things. It is making judgments and determinations about things at a simple minded and immature level. It makes those decisions based on the part and not the whole.
When I became a man, I put away childish things. Man here means one who has come of age or spiritually matured. This word also comes from the Greek word that means having become of one mind. In other words, they are no longer thinking in a mind of duality which is a mind of acknowledging good and evil. They are not seeing life in part anymore. They are seeing with one mind or the mind of Christ and seeing the whole. They have now put away the childish or limited understanding which divides the mind and thinking into parts.
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. A mirror is used to look at yourself. The word here means to allow oneself to be seen or perceived with the mind. This is beyond seeing your outer self or physical being. This is intimating that we are seeing beyond flesh and into the real being within. It goes on even deeper. This one word mirror, or glass, also means to see Christ, to be admitted into intimate fellowship with the future kingdom and to allow oneself to be seen! What!!?? We are really on to something here! The word dimly, and in some versions darkly, means an obscure thing, a riddle or to express something obscurely. Obscurely means something not discovered yet. So this verse is saying that at first, when we are in a childish state, we are not seeing our true selves. Who we truly are in the future kingdom, and CHRIST that is WITHIN is being obscured, hidden, and has not been discovered yet. It is all fuzzy and not understood when we are in a partitioned mind and a place of duality where we see things in part.
But then face to face. When is then? Then is now! Then is an appointed time. Now we are at an appointed time that we can begin seeing face to face. So what is face to face? Face in this verse means a mental direction, against the flesh, of the intended purpose and to allow oneself to be seen. So now is the time that our true selves, the Christ within us is no longer being obscured and hidden. Now is the time of the revealing of the Sons. Now we can have a mind, or mental direction that is against the flesh or what we are seeing physically with the eyes, and we can being seeing our intended purpose and allow our true selves to be seen. And our true self is Christ within us. Now we can know as we are known. God knows who we truly are, but we have not known. But now we can know ourselves as God knows us. As Sons who walk in Christ within us.
And this takes us back to where we started at the top of this page. We no longer have to walk as sons of Adam or sons of the flesh. This means we no longer have to live life seeing through the filter of the flesh that taints our perception of who we are, what is possible, or how we have to live. We don't have to live in the chaos that flesh lives in if we only choose to see face to face. We no longer have to live by the dictates of this world, our emotions, our situations, or the world's situations if we choose to see clearly. We are being offered transformation of our lives at a level that has never been seen on this planet. It is up to each one of us to take that offer. It is time for our blindness to be turned to sight.
